אֽוֹי־לִ֣י אִמִּ֔י כִּ֣י יְלִדְתִּ֗נִי אִ֥ישׁ רִ֛יב וְאִ֥ישׁ מָד֖וֹן לְכָל־הָאָ֑רֶץ לֹֽא־נָשִׁ֥יתִי וְלֹא־נָֽשׁוּ־בִ֖י כֻּלֹּ֥ה מְקַלְלַֽונִי׃ (ס)

Wehe mir, meine Mutter, dass du mich geboren hast. Ein Mann des Streits und ein Mann des Streits um die ganze Erde! Ich habe nicht geliehen, noch haben Männer mir geliehen; Doch jeder von ihnen verflucht mich.
