גַּם־חֲסִידָ֣ה בַשָּׁמַ֗יִם יָֽדְעָה֙ מֽוֹעֲדֶ֔יהָ וְתֹ֤ר וסוס [וְסִיס֙] וְעָג֔וּר שָׁמְר֖וּ אֶת־עֵ֣ת בֹּאָ֑נָה וְעַמִּ֕י לֹ֣א יָֽדְע֔וּ אֵ֖ת מִשְׁפַּ֥ט יְהוָֽה׃
Ja, der Storch im Himmel kennt ihre festgelegten Zeiten; und die Schildkröte und die Schwalbe und der Kranich beobachten die Zeit ihres Kommens; aber mein Volk kennt die Verordnung des HERRN nicht.
