וְגִדְע֣וֹן בָּ֗א וַיַּ֤עַשׂ גְּדִֽי־עִזִּים֙ וְאֵיפַת־קֶ֣מַח מַצּ֔וֹת הַבָּשָׂר֙ שָׂ֣ם בַּסַּ֔ל וְהַמָּרַ֖ק שָׂ֣ם בַּפָּר֑וּר וַיּוֹצֵ֥א אֵלָ֛יו אֶל־תַּ֥חַת הָאֵלָ֖ה וַיַּגַּֽשׁ׃ (ס)

Gideon ging und bereitete ein Ziegenböcklein und ein Efa Mehl ungesäuerter Kuchen, das Fleisch tat er in den Korb, und die Brühe tat er in den Topf, und brachte es hinaus zu ihm unter die Eiche und reichte es dar.
