וַֽיְהִי֙ בַּשְּׁבִעִ֔ית וַיֹּ֗אמֶר הִנֵּה־עָ֛ב קְטַנָּ֥ה כְּכַף־אִ֖ישׁ עֹלָ֣ה מִיָּ֑ם וַיֹּ֗אמֶר עֲלֵ֨ה אֱמֹ֤ר אֶל־אַחְאָב֙ אֱסֹ֣ר וָרֵ֔ד וְלֹ֥א יַעַצָרְכָ֖ה הַגָּֽשֶׁם׃

Beim siebenten Male sprach [der Knabe]: Eine Wolke, klein wie die Hand eines Menschen, kommt herauf am Westen. Da sprach [Elija]: Gehe hinauf, sprich zu Ahab: Spanne an und fahre hinab, lass dich vom Regen nicht aufhalten.
