וְהֵבִ֤יא אֶת־אֲשָׁמוֹ֙ לַֽיהוָ֔ה אֶל־פֶּ֖תַח אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד אֵ֖יל אָשָֽׁם׃
Auch bringe er ein Schuldopfer dem Herrn an den Eingang des Stiftszeltes, einen Widder zum Schuldopfer.

איל אשם, “a ram for a guiltoffering.” We have had this expression already in Leviticus 5,18. Our sages use this similarity of expression, g’zeyra shaveh to say that the value of that ram in both instances is to be the same, two shekels.(On verse 19 in that chapter our author speaks of a twoyear old ram, not of its value in shekels.
