בָּ֣קַע יָ֭ם וַיַּֽעֲבִירֵ֑ם וַֽיַּצֶּב־מַ֥יִם כְּמוֹ־נֵֽד׃
Er spaltete das Meer und führte sie hindurch, er machte das Wasser stauen wie einen Damm.
Rashi on Psalms
as a heap Heb. נד, a tall heap, as Onkelos renders (Exod. 15:8): “the flowing water stood up like a נֵד,” stood up like a wall.
