וַיִּזְכֹּ֥ר יְמֵֽי־עוֹלָ֖ם מֹשֶׁ֣ה עַמּ֑וֹ אַיֵּ֣ה ׀ הַֽמַּעֲלֵ֣ם מִיָּ֗ם אֵ֚ת רֹעֵ֣י צֹאנ֔וֹ אַיֵּ֛ה הַשָּׂ֥ם בְּקִרְבּ֖וֹ אֶת־ר֥וּחַ קָדְשֽׁוֹ׃

Aber er gedachte der Tage der Vorzeit, als Mose sein Volk [befreite, und sprach]: Wo ist der, der sie durch das Meer führte? [Er gedachte] des Hirten seiner Schafe [und fragte]: Wo ist der, der in seine Mitte seinen heiligen Geist gelegt?
