הַבֵּ֤ט מִשָּׁמַ֙יִם֙ וּרְאֵ֔ה מִזְּבֻ֥ל קָדְשְׁךָ֖ וְתִפְאַרְתֶּ֑ךָ אַיֵּ֤ה קִנְאָֽתְךָ֙ וּגְב֣וּרֹתֶ֔ךָ הֲמ֥וֹן מֵעֶ֛יךָ וְֽרַחֲמֶ֖יךָ אֵלַ֥י הִתְאַפָּֽקוּ׃

Schaue vom Himmel und siehe aus deiner heiligen und herrlichen Wohnung: wo ist dein Eifer und deine Macht? Die Regung deines Innern und dein Erbarmen halten meinetwegen inne.

Look down, etc. The prophet repeats here the prayer of the intelligent portion of those referred to in ver. 10.22And He fought against them, that is, He punished them with exile; the better part of the nation then prayed to the Almighty for relief and deliverance.
