וַיָּ֙קֶם֙ אֶת־הָֽעַמֻּדִ֔ים לְאֻלָ֖ם הַֽהֵיכָ֑ל וַיָּ֜קֶם אֶת־הָעַמּ֣וּד הַיְמָנִ֗י וַיִּקְרָ֤א אֶת־שְׁמוֹ֙ יָכִ֔ין וַיָּ֙קֶם֙ אֶת־הָעַמּ֣וּד הַשְּׂמָאלִ֔י וַיִּקְרָ֥א אֶת־שְׁמ֖וֹ בֹּֽעַז׃
Er richtete die Säulen auf zu der Halle des Tempels; die rechte Säule richtete er auf und nannte sie Jachin; dann richtete er die linke Säule auf und nannte sie Boas.
The Third Beit HaMikdash
“There were pillars near the doorposts, one on this side,” i.e. on the right, “and one on the other side,”1Ibid.:49. i.e. on the left. These paralleled the Yachin and Boaz pillars that were present in the First Beis HaMikdash.2See I Melachim 7:21.
