Kabbalah zu Mischlej 13:78

Reshit Chokhmah

One who reveals the secrets of the Torah to one who is not ready, not only is his punishment in the World to Come but it is also in this world since poverty chases him, and this is stated in the Zohar in Vayikra: 11. This letter is prepared to punish those who reveal the secrets, as indicated by “poverty (Heb. reish) and shame” (Mishlei 13:18) AS THE NAME ‘REISH’ INDICATES JUDGMENTS.

Zohar

Rebbe Shimon said, "Come and see! The Holy One of Blessing didn't give Torah to Yisrael until the faithful could be distinguished from those without faith, who didn't desire Torah. And how were they distinguished? Through the mannah! As it says, (Shmot 16:4), "that I may thus test them [to see whether they will follow My instructions or not"]. All those found to be faithful, the Holy One of Blessing marks them, with the mark of the crown of Hesed, as it says (Tehillim 147:11), "those who rely on ha-Shem's Hesed." It is because of this that "I may test them." All those not found to be faithful, this supernal crown will be removed from them. For I proclaimed the mannah, saying (Mishlei 13:25), "[The righteous man eats to his heart’s content,] but the belly of the wicked is empty." With all this, (Shmot 16:18) "the one who had gathered much had no excess, and the one who had gathered little had no deficiency; [they had gathered as much as they needed to eat.]"

Baal HaSulam's Introduction to Zohar

The last level in this stage, is to love G-d with an extremely strong craving, as one obsessed with a passion that one cannot remove from their thoughts neither by day nor by night. As the psalmist said "when I remember it, it does not let me sleep". On such a person it is written (Proverbs 13:12) "desire attained is a tree of life". For the five levels of the soul is the deeper meaning of "the tree of life", whose [spiritual] distance is 500 "years". For each level is [represented by the number] 100. Meaning that this [desire] will lead the person to the five levels [of the soul, known as] Nefesh, Ruach, Neshama, Chaya and Yechida.

Idra Zuta

When sins multiply in the worlds; and the Temple – Malchut – is defiled by people’s sins; and the male, Zeir Anpin, separates from the female, Malchut, and the fierce serpent begins to awaken; woe to the world that is sustained at that time by that righteousness, which is Malchut when separated from Zeir Anpin that is justice. Many battalions of demons are roused in the world, many righteous people pass away from the world. And why is that – because the male separates from the female and justice does not approach righteousness. It is written of this, “bus sometimes ruin comes for want of justice” (Mishlei 13:23), which is because justice, which is Zeir Anpin, separates from this righteousness and Malchut is not sweetened. Righteousness receives from another place, that is, the left without the righteous, which is harsh judgments.
