וַיִּשָּׂ֨א אַבְרָהָ֜ם אֶת־עֵינָ֗יו וַיַּרְא֙ וְהִנֵּה־אַ֔יִל אַחַ֕ר נֶאֱחַ֥ז בַּסְּבַ֖ךְ בְּקַרְנָ֑יו וַיֵּ֤לֶךְ אַבְרָהָם֙ וַיִּקַּ֣ח אֶת־הָאַ֔יִל וַיַּעֲלֵ֥הוּ לְעֹלָ֖ה תַּ֥חַת בְּנֽוֹ׃
Und Abraham erhob seine Augen und sah hinter sich einen Widder, der sich mit seinen Hörnern im Dickicht verwickelt hatte. Da ging Abraham hin, nahm den Widder und brachte ihn zum Opfer, an seines Sohnes Stelle.
