My God, guard my tongue from evil15This prayer was the personal meditation of Mar the son of Ravina, which he recited after he completed his prayers (Maseches Berachos 17a), and it is therefore expressed in the singular. The Jew prays that his mouth, his tongue, and his lips, which have just served as the instruments for his communion with God, will not forfeit any of their moral purity in his dealings with his fellow men.—Yaavetz This prayer is based on the verse, “Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from deceitful speech” (Psalms 34:14). Even though good and evil depend on man’s will, he nevertheless prays for God’s help in controlling himself, so as to permit no insult to provoke his wrath, and to remain calm and silent even in the face of a curse.—Avudraham and my lips from speaking deceitfully. To those who curse me, may my soul be unresponsive; and let my soul be like dust to all. Open my heart to Your Torah and let my soul pursue Your commandments.16May I have an open, receptive and understanding mind and spirit in the study of Torah. When it comes to mitzvos, let my soul know no indifference, indolence, or passivity. Let me demonstrate zealous and vigorous endeavor in all things pertaining to Your mitzvos.—Etz Yosef; S.R. He makes great (On Shabbat & Holidays days when Musaf (additional prayer service) is said, say instead: He is a tower of) Salvation of His Kingship. And does kindness to his anointed one – to [King] David & his descendants forever. Young lions became needy and starved But, those that seek, the L·rd, did not lack any good. (Psalms 34:11) I was a youth & I also became older, & I did not see a Righteous person abandoned & his children seeking bread. (Psalms 37:25) All day He is graceful & lends & his children are held blessed. (Psalms 37, 26) That that we ate, may it be to satiate. And that which we drank, may it be for healing. And that that we left over, may it be for blessing. As it is written: As it is written: “and he gave it [the food] before them and when they had eaten, they had some left over as [according to] the word of the L·rd. (II Kings 4:44 ) Blessed are you to the L·rd – Who makes the Heaven and Earth. Blessed is the man that will place trust in the L·rd. And the L·rd is his trust. (Jeremiah 17:7 ) The L·rd gives strength to His People. The L·rd will bless his people with peace. (Psalms 29:11) May He Who creates peace in His high places, may He with His mercy, make peace upon us & all His people Israel, & say ye, Amen.

May it be Your will in front of You, Lord God, and God of our fathers - that You should do [it] for the sake of Your mercies and for the sake of the merit of the sixth circle that hints to foundation; and that You save us from any sin, iniquity or bad thought. And [may] You - in Your great goodness - gather that which we have scattered, unify that which we have separated and fix that which we have distorted; and bring out the light of all the holy sparks that have been mixed up among the husks - 'he has swallowed riches, but he shall vomit them; God empties it out of his stomach.' And merit us to guard ourselves and our paths from all sin; and let there not be found any defect in us or in our seed; and that all of our seed be holy seed. And in the merit of Your righteous one, Joseph, who is sealed with the trait of foundation, have mercy upon us - Omnipotent God - set up the foundation (yesod) of Zion, 'the horns of the righteous shall be lifted up.' And in the merit of Joseph, may the Lord bring back His hand and redeem us in an eternal redemption speedily in our days. (The next four verses begin with the Hebrew letters that spell out the word, foundation - YeSOD:) He shall carry away a blessing from the Lord, a just reward from God, his Deliverer (Psalms 24:5). Shun evil and do good, seek peace and pursue it (Psalms 34:15). He is like a tree planted beside streams of water, which yields its fruit in season, whose foliage never fades, and whatever it produces thrives (Psalms 1:3). I have declared my way, and You have answered me; teach me Your laws (Psalms 119:26). May the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in front of You, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.
