בֵּאדַ֣יִן דָּ֣קוּ כַחֲדָ֡ה פַּרְזְלָא֩ חַסְפָּ֨א נְחָשָׁ֜א כַּסְפָּ֣א וְדַהֲבָ֗א וַהֲווֹ֙ כְּע֣וּר מִן־אִדְּרֵי־קַ֔יִט וּנְשָׂ֤א הִמּוֹן֙ רוּחָ֔א וְכָל־אֲתַ֖ר לָא־הִשְׁתֲּכַ֣ח לְה֑וֹן וְאַבְנָ֣א ׀ דִּֽי־מְחָ֣ת לְצַלְמָ֗א הֲוָ֛ת לְט֥וּר רַ֖ב וּמְלָ֥ת כָּל־אַרְעָֽא׃
Darauf waren mit einem Mal zermalmt das Eisen, der Thon, das Kupfer, das Silber und das Gold, und sie wurden wie Spreu der Tennen im Sommer, und es entführte sie der Wind, und keine Spur wurde von ihnen gefunden; der Stein aber, der das Bild zerschlug, wurde zu einem gewaltigen Berge und füllte die ganze Erde.

The ninth king is King || Messiah, who, in the future, will rule from one end of the world to the other, as it is said, "He shall have dominion also from sea to sea" (Ps. 72:8); and another Scripture text says, "And the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth" (Dan. 2:35).

Midrash Tanchuma
Even these seven. What is indicated by the phrase even these seven? The word seven is explained by what is written concerning the King Messiah: Who hath despised the day of small things? … even these seven (Zech. 4:10). That is why it is said: Who art thou, O great mountain. Scripture states elsewhere concerning him: But with righteousness shall he judge the poor (Isa. 11:4), and he shall bring forth the top stone with shoutings of “Grace, grace, unto it” (Zech. 4:7). After that it is written: And then was the iron, the clay, the brass … broken in pieces together … and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth (Dan. 2:35). Thus it is said: Who art thou, O great mountain? From whence shall he come? He shall come by way of the mountain path, as is said: How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of the messenger of good tidings (Isa. 52:7). At that time, Israel will look upwards and say: I will life up mine eyes unto the mountains: From whence shall my help come? My help cometh from the Lord, who made heaven and earth (Ps. 121:1). Amen, and so may it be.

"For, lo, thine enemies, O Lord" (Ps. 92:9); Israel said: Sovereign of all worlds! Thou hast placed all our enemies over us (to afflict us with) a heavy yoke on our backs, but we know that they are doomed to destruction, as it is said, "O Lord, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish" (ibid.). And all || idolaters, for they and their works are iniquity, shall be scattered like chaff before the wind.
