For all your generations. Only those whose descendants could continue on the throne without any limitation were anointed with the sacred oil. Thus kings of the Davidic line could be anointed with it but the kings of the northern realm could not be, because their dominion was limited to a maximum of four generations (Meshech Chochmah).
