וַיָּחָן֩ יְהוָ֨ה אֹתָ֤ם וַֽיְרַחֲמֵם֙ וַיִּ֣פֶן אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם לְמַ֣עַן בְּרִית֔וֹ אֶת־אַבְרָהָ֖ם יִצְחָ֣ק וְיַֽעֲקֹ֑ב וְלֹ֤א אָבָה֙ הַשְׁחִיתָ֔ם וְלֹֽא־הִשְׁלִיכָ֥ם מֵֽעַל־פָּנָ֖יו עַד־עָֽתָּה׃
Aber der Herr war ihnen gnädig und hatte Mitleid mit ihnen und hatte Respekt vor ihnen wegen seines Bundes mit Abraham, Isaak und Jakob und wollte sie nicht zerstören, und er hat sie bis jetzt nicht aus seiner Gegenwart geworfen.

He who blessed our fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, may He bless this tender, circumcised child (child's Hebrew name) son of (father's Hebrew name) and grant him a complete recovery, because he has entered into the covenant. And even as he has entered into the covenant, so may he enter into the [study of] Torah, chupah [the nuptial canopy] and good deeds. And let us [all] say Amein.
