וְעַתָּ֗ה אָבִי֙ הֶעְמִ֤יס עֲלֵיכֶם֙ עֹ֣ל כָּבֵ֔ד וַאֲנִ֖י אוֹסִ֣יף עַֽל־עֻלְּכֶ֑ם אָבִ֗י יִסַּ֤ר אֶתְכֶם֙ בַּשּׁוֹטִ֔ים וַאֲנִ֕י אֲיַסֵּ֥ר אֶתְכֶ֖ם בָּעַקְרַבִּֽים׃
Hat nun mein Vater euch aufgeladen ein schweres Joch, so will ich es euch noch mehr erschweren; hat euch mein Vater mit Ruten gezüchtigt, so will ich euch mit Skorpionen züchtigen.

And now, my father placed a heavy yoke upon you, and I will add to your load. My father chastened you with whips, but I [will chasten you] with [(a goad that stings like)] scorpions.
