וְגַ֣ם ׀ אֶת־מַעֲכָ֣ה אִמּ֗וֹ וַיְסִרֶ֙הָ֙ מִגְּבִירָ֔ה אֲשֶׁר־עָשְׂתָ֥ה מִפְלֶ֖צֶת לָאֲשֵׁרָ֑ה וַיִּכְרֹ֤ת אָסָא֙ אֶת־מִפְלַצְתָּ֔הּ וַיִּשְׂרֹ֖ף בְּנַ֥חַל קִדְרֽוֹן׃
Sogar seine Mutter Maacha setzte er als Herrscherin ab, weil sie ein Scheusal [Götzenbild] gemacht der Asera. Assa fällte ihr Scheusal und verbrannte es im Thale Kidron.

And also Ma'achah, King Assa's mother, did he depose as queen for having made an obscenity for the asheirah. And Assa cut off her obscenity and ground (it) and burned (it) in the Kidron valley.
