וַיִּשְׁכַּ֤ב אֲבִיָּם֙ עִם־אֲבֹתָ֔יו וַיִּקְבְּר֥וּ אֹת֖וֹ בְּעִ֣יר דָּוִ֑ד וַיִּמְלֹ֛ךְ אָסָ֥א בְנ֖וֹ תַּחְתָּֽיו׃ (פ)
Abijam legte sich zu seinen Vätern und man begrub ihn in der Stadt Davids. An seiner Statt wurde sein Sohn Assa König.

And Aviyah rested with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of David, and Assa his son reigned in his place. In his days, the land was quiet for ten years.
