כִּ֤י הַכְּרוּבִים֙ פֹּרְשִׂ֣ים כְּנָפַ֔יִם אֶל־מְק֖וֹם הָֽאָר֑וֹן וַיָּסֹ֧כּוּ הַכְּרֻבִ֛ים עַל־הָאָר֥וֹן וְעַל־בַּדָּ֖יו מִלְמָֽעְלָה׃
Denn die Cherubim breiteten die Flügel über die Stelle der Lade, so dass die Cherubim die Lade bedeckten und die Stangen darüberhin.
II Chronicles
And the cherubs spread their wings in the place of the ark [(from wall to wall, viz. 6:27)], and the cherubs covered the ark and its staves [(with their wings)] from above.
