אֵ֚ין בָּֽאָר֔וֹן רַ֗ק שְׁנֵי֙ לֻח֣וֹת הָאֲבָנִ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֨ר הִנִּ֥חַ שָׁ֛ם מֹשֶׁ֖ה בְּחֹרֵ֑ב אֲשֶׁ֨ר כָּרַ֤ת יְהוָה֙ עִם־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל בְּצֵאתָ֖ם מֵאֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃
In der Lade war nichts als die zwei steinernen Tafeln, die Mose am Horeb hineingelegt hatte, als der Herr einen Bund geschlossen mit den Kindern Israel nach ihrem Auszuge aus dem Lande Ägypten.
II Chronicles
There was nothing in the ark except the two tablets which Moses had placed (there) in Chorev when the L rd made (a covenant) with the children of Israel when they went out of the land of Egypt.
