וַיַּ֥עַשׂ הָרַ֖ע בְּעֵינֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה כְּתֽוֹעֲבֹת֙ הַגּוֹיִ֔ם אֲשֶׁר֙ הוֹרִ֣ישׁ יְהוָ֔ה מִפְּנֵ֖י בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
Er tat, was dem Herrn missfiel, nach den Gräueln der Völker, die der Herr ausgetrieben hatte vor den Kindern Israel.

And he did what was evil in the eyes of the L rd, as the abominations of the nations which the L rd had driven out before the children of Israel.
