וְ֠עַתָּה כֹּֽה־תֹאמַ֞ר לְעַבְדִּ֣י לְדָוִ֗ד כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ יְהוָ֣ה צְבָא֔וֹת אֲנִ֤י לְקַחְתִּ֙יךָ֙ מִן־הַנָּוֶ֔ה מֵאַחַ֖ר הַצֹּ֑אן לִֽהְי֣וֹת נָגִ֔יד עַל־עַמִּ֖י עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
Nun aber sollst du also zu meinem Knechte David sprechen: Also spricht der Herr Zebaot: Ich habe dich genommen von der Herde, hinter den Schafen weg, und dich zum Fürsten gemacht über mein Volk Israel.
I Chronicles
And now, thus shall you say to My servant David: Thus said the L-rd of hosts: I took you from the sheep-cote, from following the sheep, to be a leader over My people Israel.
