²⁰⁹After the digression about the Messiah, one returs to the main theme; the final benediction of the weekday insertion is the fifteenth in the Galilean count, and the mention of God’s name in the verse is the fifteenth in the Psalm. Rebbi Tanḥuma said: Why did they institute “He Who listens to prayer” as the fifteenth benediction?
