Rebbi Abin said, all coins were current in Jerusalem in old times, following (Ps. 48:3) “beautiful region, enjoyment of all the earth.”88In the Babli Baba Qama 97b, the fact that all coins from all countries were accepted in Jerusalem in Temple times is quoted as tannaїtic.
