לֵךְ֩ וְדִבַּרְתָּ֨ אֶל־דָּוִ֜יד לֵאמֹ֗ר כֹּ֚ה אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה שָׁל֕וֹשׁ אֲנִ֖י נֹטֶ֣ה עָלֶ֑יךָ בְּחַר־לְךָ֛ אַחַ֥ת מֵהֵ֖נָּה וְאֶֽעֱשֶׂה־לָּֽךְ׃
'Geh und sprich zu David und sprich: So spricht der HERR: Ich biete dir drei Dinge an; wähle dich aus, damit ich es dir antue.'

Dovid said, "As Adonoy lives, Adonoy will strike him, or his day will come and he will die, or he will go down into battle and perish.
