וְחָרָשׁ֙ לֹ֣א יִמָּצֵ֔א בְּכֹ֖ל אֶ֣רֶץ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל כִּֽי־אמר [אָמְר֣וּ] פְלִשְׁתִּ֔ים פֶּ֚ן יַעֲשׂ֣וּ הָעִבְרִ֔ים חֶ֖רֶב א֥וֹ חֲנִֽית׃
Ein Schmied fand sich aber damals nicht im ganzen Lande Israel, denn die Philister dachten, sonst machen sich die Hebräer ein Schwert oder einen Spieß.
