וְלָ֤מָּה תְכַבְּדוּ֙ אֶת־לְבַבְכֶ֔ם כַּאֲשֶׁ֧ר כִּבְּד֛וּ מִצְרַ֥יִם וּפַרְעֹ֖ה אֶת־לִבָּ֑ם הֲלוֹא֙ כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר הִתְעַלֵּ֣ל בָּהֶ֔ם וַֽיְשַׁלְּח֖וּם וַיֵּלֵֽכוּ׃
Denn warum wollt ihr euer Herz verstocken, wie einst die Ägypter und Pharao ihr Herz verstockt haben, dass erst, nachdem er sie arg gedemütigt hatte, sie [die Israeliten] entließen, dass sie gingen.
