Tanach zu Schemuel I 9:9

Vordem sprach man also in Israel, wenn man ging Gott zu befragen: Kommt, wir wollen zu dem Seher gehen; denn was heutzutage den Propheten, nannte man vordem den Seher. —

I Samuel

As they were climbing the ascent to the city they encountered some girls going out to draw water, and they said to them, "Is this where the seer is?"
