וַיֹּ֣אמֶר דָּוִד֮ אֶל־מִיכַל֒ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר בָּֽחַר־בִּ֤י מֵֽאָבִיךְ֙ וּמִכָּל־בֵּית֔וֹ לְצַוֺּ֨ת אֹתִ֥י נָגִ֛יד עַל־עַ֥ם יְהוָ֖ה עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְשִׂחַקְתִּ֖י לִפְנֵ֥י יְהוָֽה׃
Da sprach David zu Michal: Vor dem Herrn, der an mir Gefallen fand mehr als an deinem Vater und an seinem ganzen Hause, mich zu bestellen zum Fürsten über das Volk des Herrn, über Israel, — vor dem Herrn hab‘ ich nun getanzt!
