וְאֹתִ֞י צִוָּ֤ה יְהוָה֙ בָּעֵ֣ת הַהִ֔וא לְלַמֵּ֣ד אֶתְכֶ֔ם חֻקִּ֖ים וּמִשְׁפָּטִ֑ים לַעֲשֹׂתְכֶ֣ם אֹתָ֔ם בָּאָ֕רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֥ר אַתֶּ֛ם עֹבְרִ֥ים שָׁ֖מָּה לְרִשְׁתָּֽהּ׃
Und der Herr hat mir damals geboten, euch Satzungen und Verordnungen zu lehren, damit ihr sie in dem Land tut, wohin ihr hinübergeht, um es zu besitzen.
Targum Jonathan on Deuteronomy
And the Lord commanded me at that time to teach you the statutes and judgments, that you may do them in the land which you pass over to possess.
