עַ֣ם גָּד֥וֹל וְרַ֛ב וָרָ֖ם כָּעֲנָקִ֑ים וַיַּשְׁמִידֵ֤ם יְהוָה֙ מִפְּנֵיהֶ֔ם וַיִּירָשֻׁ֖ם וַיֵּשְׁב֥וּ תַחְתָּֽם׃

ein Volk, groß und viele und groß wie die Anakim; aber der HERR vernichtete sie vor ihnen; und sie folgten ihnen nach und wohnten an ihrer Stelle;

a people great and mighty as giants: but the Word of the Lord destroyed them, and drave them out before them, and they dwelt in their place;
