רַ֗ק מֵעָרֵ֤י הָֽעַמִּים֙ הָאֵ֔לֶּה אֲשֶׁר֙ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ נֹתֵ֥ן לְךָ֖ נַחֲלָ֑ה לֹ֥א תְחַיֶּ֖ה כָּל־נְשָׁמָֽה׃

Wenn aber von den Städten dieser Völker, dass der Herr, dein Gott, dir ein Erbe gibt, sollst du nichts lebendig retten, was atmet.

but of the cities of these peoples, which the Lord your God giveth you to inherit, ye shall not spare alive any breathing thing:
