Targum zu Dewarim 21:6

וְכֹ֗ל זִקְנֵי֙ הָעִ֣יר הַהִ֔וא הַקְּרֹבִ֖ים אֶל־הֶחָלָ֑ל יִרְחֲצוּ֙ אֶת־יְדֵיהֶ֔ם עַל־הָעֶגְלָ֖ה הָעֲרוּפָ֥ה בַנָּֽחַל׃

Und alle Ältesten dieser Stadt, die dem Erschlagenen am nächsten sind, werden ihre Hände über die Färse waschen, deren Hals im Tal gebrochen war.

and all the elders of the city lying nearest to the dead man shall wash their hands over the heifer which hath been cut off in the field,
