פְּסִילֵ֥י אֱלֹהֵיהֶ֖ם תִּשְׂרְפ֣וּן בָּאֵ֑שׁ לֹֽא־תַחְמֹד֩ כֶּ֨סֶף וְזָהָ֤ב עֲלֵיהֶם֙ וְלָקַחְתָּ֣ לָ֔ךְ פֶּ֚ן תִּוָּקֵ֣שׁ בּ֔וֹ כִּ֧י תוֹעֲבַ֛ת יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ הֽוּא׃
Die geschnitzten Bilder ihrer Götter sollt ihr mit Feuer verbrennen; du sollst das Silber oder das Gold, das auf ihnen ist, nicht begehren und es dir nicht bringen, damit du nicht darin gefangen wirst; denn es ist ein Greuel für den HERRN, deinen Gott.
Targum Jonathan on Deuteronomy
You shall burn their images with fire, nor desire the silver and gold that may be upon them, nor take them, lest through them you offend, for they are an abomination before the Lord your God.
