הֶֽעָשִׁ֣יר לֹֽא־יַרְבֶּ֗ה וְהַדַּל֙ לֹ֣א יַמְעִ֔יט מִֽמַּחֲצִ֖ית הַשָּׁ֑קֶל לָתֵת֙ אֶת־תְּרוּמַ֣ת יְהוָ֔ה לְכַפֵּ֖ר עַל־נַפְשֹׁתֵיכֶֽם׃
Der Reiche gebe nicht mehr und der Arme nicht weniger denn einen halben Sekel als Gabe des Herrn zu eurer Sühnung.
Targum Jonathan on Exodus
He who is rich shall not add to, and he who is poor shall not diminish from, the half shekel in giving the seperation before the Lord, to atone for your souls.
