וַיֹּ֣אמֶר מֹשֶׁ֗ה מִלְא֨וּ יֶדְכֶ֤ם הַיּוֹם֙ לַֽיהוָ֔ה כִּ֛י אִ֥ישׁ בִּבְנ֖וֹ וּבְאָחִ֑יו וְלָתֵ֧ת עֲלֵיכֶ֛ם הַיּ֖וֹם בְּרָכָֽה׃
Mose sprach alsdann [zu den Leviten]: Füllet eure Hand heute [weiht euch] dem Herrn, denn ein jeder war selbst gegen seinen Sohn, und gegen seinen Bruder; verliehen sei euch heute Segen.
Targum Jonathan on Exodus
And Mosheh said, Offer your oblation for the shedding of the blood that is upon your hands, and make atonement for yourselves before the Lord, because you have smitten a man his son or his brother, and that you may bring a blessing upon you this day.
