וְאִם־לֹ֨א תֹאבֶ֤ה הָֽאִשָּׁה֙ לָלֶ֣כֶת אַחֲרֶ֔יךָ וְנִקִּ֕יתָ מִשְּׁבֻעָתִ֖י זֹ֑את רַ֣ק אֶת־בְּנִ֔י לֹ֥א תָשֵׁ֖ב שָֽׁמָּה׃

Wenn jedoch die Frau dir nicht wird folgen wollen, so bist du des mir geleisteten Schwures ledig; nur führe nicht meinen Sohn dorthin zurück.

But if the woman be not willing to come after thee, thou shalt be innocent from this my oath; only make not my son return thither.
