וַיֹּ֣אמֶר לָבָ֗ן ט֚וֹב תִּתִּ֣י אֹתָ֣הּ לָ֔ךְ מִתִּתִּ֥י אֹתָ֖הּ לְאִ֣ישׁ אַחֵ֑ר שְׁבָ֖ה עִמָּדִֽי׃
Da sprach Laban. Besser, ich gebe sie dir, als einem andern Manne; bleibe bei mir!

And Laban said with deceit, It is better that I give her to thee, than to another man abide with me.
