Targum zu Bereschit 1:18

וְלִמְשֹׁל֙ בַּיּ֣וֹם וּבַלַּ֔יְלָה וּֽלֲהַבְדִּ֔יל בֵּ֥ין הָא֖וֹר וּבֵ֣ין הַחֹ֑שֶׁךְ וַיַּ֥רְא אֱלֹהִ֖ים כִּי־טֽוֹב׃

Und am Tage und in der Nacht zu herrschen und zwischen dem Licht und der Finsternis zu scheiden; und Gott sah, dass es gut war.

and to minister by day and by night, to distinguish between the light of the day and the darkness of the night. And the Lord beheld that it was good.
