וַיֵּ֤דַע קַ֙יִן֙ אֶת־אִשְׁתּ֔וֹ וַתַּ֖הַר וַתֵּ֣לֶד אֶת־חֲנ֑וֹךְ וַֽיְהִי֙ בֹּ֣נֶה עִ֔יר וַיִּקְרָא֙ שֵׁ֣ם הָעִ֔יר כְּשֵׁ֖ם בְּנ֥וֹ חֲנֽוֹךְ׃
Und Kam wohnte seiner Frau bei; sie fühlte sich Mutter und gebar Chanoch. Er war's, der zuerst eine Stadt erbaute und er nannte sie nach dem Namen seines Sohnes Chanoch.
Targum Jonathan on Genesis
And Kain knew his wife, and she conceived and bare Hanok; and he builded a city, and called the name of the city after the name of his son, Hanok.
