וַֽיְהִ֧י הַמַּבּ֛וּל אַרְבָּעִ֥ים י֖וֹם עַל־הָאָ֑רֶץ וַיִּרְבּ֣וּ הַמַּ֗יִם וַיִּשְׂאוּ֙ אֶת־הַתֵּבָ֔ה וַתָּ֖רָם מֵעַ֥ל הָאָֽרֶץ׃

Da kam die Flut vierzig Tage über die Erde, und das Wasser wuchs und hob die Arche empor; da stand sie hoch über der Erde.

And there was a flood forty days upon the earth, and the waters were multiplied and bare up the ark, and it was lifted from the earth.
