וַיִּקְרָ֥א אֹתָ֖הּ שִׁבְעָ֑ה עַל־כֵּ֤ן שֵׁם־הָעִיר֙ בְּאֵ֣ר שֶׁ֔בַע עַ֖ד הַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃ (ס)
Diesen nannte er Schibah; daher ist der Name der Stadt Beerseba, bis auf diesen Tag.
Targum Jonathan on Genesis
and he called it Sheba (the Swearing); therefore the name of the city is Beersheba unto this day.
