לְכוּ־נָ֛א וְנִוָּֽכְחָ֖ה יֹאמַ֣ר יְהוָ֑ה אִם־יִֽהְי֨וּ חֲטָאֵיכֶ֤ם כַּשָּׁנִים֙ כַּשֶּׁ֣לֶג יַלְבִּ֔ינוּ אִם־יַאְדִּ֥ימוּ כַתּוֹלָ֖ע כַּצֶּ֥מֶר יִהְיֽוּ׃
O kommt, dass wir uns versöhnen, spricht der Herr: Mögen eure Sünden [rot] wie Karmesin sein, es wird alles weiß wie Schnee; wenn sie rot wie Purpur … alles soll weiß wie [weiße] Wolle werden.
Targum Jonathan on Isaiah
Then, when ye return to the law, ye shall pray before me, and I will grant your petition, saith the Lord. Though your sins be stained as with dye, they shall be white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be pure as wool.
