בִּלְתִּ֤י כָרַע֙ תַּ֣חַת אַסִּ֔יר וְתַ֥חַת הֲרוּגִ֖ים יִפֹּ֑לוּ בְּכָל־זֹאת֙ לֹא־שָׁ֣ב אַפּ֔וֹ וְע֖וֹד יָד֥וֹ נְטוּיָֽה׃ (ס)
Jene, die nicht unter der Fessel gebeugt sind, werden unter Erschlagenen sinken. Bei all dem wendet sich nicht sein Zorn, und noch ist seine Hand ausgestreckt. Gegen Assyrien.
Targum Jonathan on Isaiah
Therefore out of your land ye shall be fettered amongst the captives; and out of your cities ye shall be cast out slain. For all this they do not turn away from their sins, that His anger might turn away from them; but still they hold fast their rebellion, and yet His stroke will be to take vengeance on them.
