ק֣וֹל קוֹרֵ֔א בַּמִּדְבָּ֕ר פַּנּ֖וּ דֶּ֣רֶךְ יְהוָ֑ה יַשְּׁרוּ֙ בָּעֲרָבָ֔ה מְסִלָּ֖ה לֵאלֹהֵֽינוּ׃
Ich höre eine Stimme rufen: In der Wüste bahnet den Weg des Herrn, ebnet in der Steppe eine Straße unserm Gotte!
Targum Jonathan on Isaiah
A voice of one crying in the wilderness prepare ye the way before the people of the Lord; cast up a highway in the plain before the congregation of our God.
