מִֽי־פָעַ֣ל וְעָשָׂ֔ה קֹרֵ֥א הַדֹּר֖וֹת מֵרֹ֑אשׁ אֲנִ֤י יְהוָה֙ רִאשׁ֔וֹן וְאֶת־אַחֲרֹנִ֖ים אֲנִי־הֽוּא׃
Wer hat es gewirkt und vollbracht? Der die Menschengeschlechter berief vom Anbeginn. Ich, der Herr, bin der Erste, und bei den Spätesten bin ich derselbe.
Targum Jonathan on Isaiah
Who hath promised these things and established them? Who hath spoken, and it was done? And who hath ranged the generations in their order from the beginning? I, the Lord, I created the world from the beginning; yea, ages after ages are mine, and besides me there is no God.
