כֹּֽה־אָמַ֞ר הָאֵ֣ל ׀ יְהוָ֗ה בּוֹרֵ֤א הַשָּׁמַ֙יִם֙ וְנ֣וֹטֵיהֶ֔ם רֹקַ֥ע הָאָ֖רֶץ וְצֶאֱצָאֶ֑יהָ נֹתֵ֤ן נְשָׁמָה֙ לָעָ֣ם עָלֶ֔יהָ וְר֖וּחַ לַהֹלְכִ֥ים בָּֽהּ׃
So spricht Gott, der Herr, der den Himmel erschaffen und ihn ausgespannt, die Erde ausgedehnt mit ihren Sprösslingen, der Odem gibt allen Geschöpfen auf ihr und Lebenshauch denen, die auf ihr wandeln.
Targum Jonathan on Isaiah
Thus saith the God of eternity, who hath created the heavens and suspended them, who hath founded the earth, and hath given breath to its inhabitants, even to the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein.
