לְמַ֤עַן שְׁמִי֙ אַאֲרִ֣יךְ אַפִּ֔י וּתְהִלָּתִ֖י אֶחֱטָם־לָ֑ךְ לְבִלְתִּ֖י הַכְרִיתֶֽךָ׃
Um meines Namens willen will ich langmütig sein, und um meines Ruhmes willen zügle ich [meinen Zorn] gegen dich, dass ich dich nicht ausrotte.
Targum Jonathan on Isaiah
For my name's sake, I will defer mine anger, and for my praise I will preserve thee, so as not to destroy thee.
