נְגַֽשְׁשָׁ֤ה כַֽעִוְרִים֙ קִ֔יר וּכְאֵ֥ין עֵינַ֖יִם נְגַשֵּׁ֑שָׁה כָּשַׁ֤לְנוּ בַֽצָּהֳרַ֙יִם֙ כַּנֶּ֔שֶׁף בָּאַשְׁמַנִּ֖ים כַּמֵּתִֽים׃
Wir tappen gleich Blinden an der Wand, und wie einer ohne Augen tasten wir; wir straucheln am Mittag wie in der Dämmerung, bei gesundem Leibe sind wir Toten gleich.
Targum Jonathan on Isaiah
We grope for the wall like the blind, and we grope as if we had no eyes : we stumble at noonday as those that stumble in the dark; it is shut up before graves are shut up before the dead.
