בְּֽכָל־צָרָתָ֣ם ׀ לא [ל֣וֹ] צָ֗ר וּמַלְאַ֤ךְ פָּנָיו֙ הֽוֹשִׁיעָ֔ם בְּאַהֲבָת֥וֹ וּבְחֶמְלָת֖וֹ ה֣וּא גְאָלָ֑ם וַֽיְנַטְּלֵ֥ם וַֽיְנַשְּׂאֵ֖ם כָּל־יְמֵ֥י עוֹלָֽם׃
Bei all ihrer Bedrängnis tat ihm leid, der Engel, der vor ihm stand, half ihnen, in seiner Liebe und in seiner Milde erlöste er sie und hob sie auf und trug sie immer.
Targum Jonathan on Isaiah
Whenever they sinned against Him, that He might have brought upon them distress, He did not distress them; but an angel was sent from Him, who in His mercy redeemed them; and in His compassion, behold, He delivered them; and He bare them, and carried them all the days of old.
